Expert Installation by Your Pool Building Professionals

Protect your family, meet every safety requirement, and enhance the beauty of your backyard with professionally installed pool fencing that’s built to last — and built to code.

As a full-service pool builder, we don’t just install fences. We design and integrate BOCA/ICC-compliant pool barriers as a seamless part of your complete pool project — including concrete decking, pool covers, lighting, and accessories. One team. One timeline. One standard of excellence.

BOCA & ICC Pool Code Compliance — We Know the Rules

The original BOCA (Building Officials and Code Administrators) pool barrier standards laid the foundation for today’s safety requirements. These have evolved into the International Swimming Pool and Spa Code (ISPSC) and International Residential Code (IRC) enforced by the International Code Council (ICC).

We stay current with every local amendment so your fence passes inspection the first time.

Key Code Requirements We Always Meet

  • Minimum height: 48 inches (measured on the outside of the fence)

  • Bottom clearance: No more than 2 inches from the finished grade

  • Opening size: No gaps larger than 4 inches anywhere in the fence

  • Non-climbable design: Horizontal rails spaced so they cannot be used as a ladder (typically 45+ inches apart or solid panels)

  • Gates: Self-closing and self-latching with the release mechanism at least 54 inches above grade

  • Clear zone: Minimum 36-inch clearance around the exterior to prevent climbing aids

  • Complete isolation: The barrier must fully surround the pool or properly isolate it from the house
